Latest Updates
Crews have started works in Hyde Street, Wainuiomata this week to renew drinking water pipes.
Work to replace drinking water pipes in residential streets of Stokes Valley and Wainuiomata started in June 2024. The works are being rolled out in packages each lasting between 6-8 weeks.
During the time of the work, there will be intermittent water outages. There may also be some noise but our crews will do their best to keep residents well informed and minimise disruptions.
To complete this important work safely and efficiently, we will require that all vehicles are clear of the work site during working hours. Any vehicles parked in the work site are a potential hazard and an obstruction, and if required, cars will be towed away to the nearest suitable park available.
We acknowledge this work will at times cause inconvenience to residents. We will do our best to minimise disruption as our team undertakes this important programme of work to reduce leaks and provide a more reliable water supply.
