This mornings’ dawn blessing for Wellington City’s Omāroro water reservoir in the Town Belt marks the next phase of construction for the project that will provide a major lift for the city’s safe drinking water resilience.

Lake Ferry wastewater treatment plant – discharge pipeline break

Third-party work undertaken near the Lake Ferry Wastewater Treatment Plant has damaged the discharge pipework that takes wastewater from the plant to the irrigation fields. This has resulted in discharge of partially treated wastewater into the nearby wetlands. The discharge was stopped at approximately 1pm.

Dixon St tunnel report reinforces critical importance of condition assessment data

Wellington Water advises that the boil water advisory for Featherston has been lifted following consultation with Regional Public Health and South Wairarapa District Council.

Major outage impacting Featherston water supply

Wellington Water, SWDC and Regional Public Health are working closely together towards lifting Featherston’s Boil Water Notice. The Notice needs to remain in place until testing confirms the water is safe, following the major breakage to the main on Friday.

Victoria Street pipe burst update
