If you have any questions about this work, please contact:
Wellington Water, 04 912 4400
The existing culvert is reaching the end of its service life and passes under a building, creating a risk of subsidence and blockages.
Construction on the new pipe is planned to begin on Monday 17 August and take approximately two months.
The majority of works will happen on private property and in the footpath. However, traffic management will be in place when necessary for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and other road users, including closing the left-turn lane. Signage will be in place to guide pedestrians safely past the construction site.

There will be some noise from machinery and equipment during working hours, between 7:30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. No weekend or overnight work is planned.
Digital signboards will be placed to provide road users with information about the lane closure. This will be in place 24 hours a day for the duration of works next to the road corridor.
