We’re upgrading underground pump stations in the CBD as part of a major programme of works to increase the resilience and capacity of the wastewater network in central Wellington.

Regional Drainage Renewals Project

Moorefield Road Stormwater Culvert

Due to a couple of factors including unexpected ground conditions the project schedule has been pushed out by about a week, with the works now expected to move out of the footpath area in late September, with construction wrapping up by mid-October.

Papawai Stream Erosion Mitigation

We now have consents in place for the Stage 2b of the Papawai Stream erosion mitigation works to proceed. Our contractor, Mills Albert, will establish their work site from 31 August, with construction expected to be completed by mid-October.
